This isn't a founder's message written by a marketing agency. It's the actual story - a garage, a pandemic, and a business that grew anyway.

It started in 2017. A small garage, a background in customer service, and a straightforward belief that getting the details right mattered more than cutting corners. The early team were friends as much as colleagues - people who bought into the idea and came along for the ride.

Then Covid arrived. While most businesses pulled back, we did the opposite. We invested in a showroom - the first of its kind locally - giving customers somewhere to actually see and feel the shutters before committing. It turned out that mattered to people.

The team that built this business are still here. Hannah joined from one of the world's largest luxury car brands and runs our operations with the same standards she brought with her. Mike is, quite simply, the best shutter installer in the business, sets our teams standard for quality and Ryan, a close friend from the start, leads our surveying team. They're not job titles - they're the reason the company works.

Nine years on, we have 32 staff, including a team of 16 carpentry trained fitters, over 1,000 five-star Trustpilot reviews, and our own production line which allows us to offer our customers a 15 year warranty. Every member of our team is fully employed - no subcontractors - and trained to become masters of their craft.

We're proud of how far it's come. But the thing we're most proud of is that it still feels the same as it did in that garage.
