The Orangery
We were instructed by our customer on the back of an extensive renovation project for this stone built, 1900s cottage in the heart of one of the oldest villages in the UK.
Safe to say, the design, open plan layout and living areas have been carefully thought about whilst keeping the true character of the building at the forefront.
We opted for a timeless style mix, with our 89mm large slats to give as much light as possible, a centre tilt rod to hold onto traditional values and our pure white colourway.
The Orangrey part of this project had to have a very technical approach with shutters due to the inverted angles, a frequently used patio door and over 28 individual shutter panels.
Very proud of this one!
When building a house from scratch, you can think of the finer details long before its even reached the foundations.
Our customer really went for the statement home here in this barn type house build in the Hertfordshire countryside. From the jet black panelling to huge windows/doors at the rear. Black windows are very popular at the moment and we can see why, the minimalist look and modern feel to such a traditional designed space makes the glasswear a focal point.
This is where our shutters come in, our large 89mm slats to maximise the view of the countryside behind, our Anthracite colourway to soften the contrast between in and our along with our hidden tilt rod for ultimate discretion.

What a space!
The Barn
Being chosen from many suppliers to be responsible for WeWork keeping in line with the strict building regulations that Soho Square W1 requires to abide by was a very proud moment.
Converting a 1800s London hallmark building into a shared office space is no easy feet. The visual aesthetic from the front needs to be kept in line with its Grade II values so roller blinds or office vertical blinds were out the question.
With these huge sash windows, our durable solid hardwood shutters not only meet the building regulations but offer both huge light benefits and complete privacy when required.
Its always nice to walk past and see these when in town!
